LimeSoft Software for LiMeDAS server
Software for collecting, storing, visualizing and presenting data from various sources
LiMeDAS stands for Real Time Data Acquisition System. It is a robust solution that can be used to monitor, analyze and report data for various industrial applications such as Continuous Emissions Monitoring (CEMS), Predictive Emissions Monitoring (PEMS), Ambient Air Quality (AQMS), Water Quality, Signal Predictive Maintenance device alarms. , and more.
Our clients include businesses from various sectors such as energy, oil and gas, cement, chemicals, mining, metals, pulp and paper and manufacturing.
LiMeDAS was developed from the ground up using the latest software development methodologies and based on feedback from operations engineers and business leaders. It has a flexible, intuitive and fully customizable user interface. From simple alarms to complex regulatory reports, we've got you covered!
Data collection
LiMeDAS does not require a data logger or data historian to operate. It can query instantaneous and historical data using a known protocol or SDK, such as OSIsoft PI AF SDK, or directly read data from a SQL database, such as SQL Server, MySQL, SQLite, or SQL Compact.
Any relational database can be interfaced as long as the database schema information is available and public.
One LiMeDAS software can manage data from multiple sites, each with multiple data sources, such as a stack, fire alarm sensor, air quality monitoring station and more. Various applications and configurations are supported.
For continuous emissions monitoring (CEMS) applications, LiMeDAS can process environmental CEMS data from dedicated and time domain analyzers, as well as single and dual range sensors.
Data Analysis
LiMeDAS can perform calculations and data processing (e.g. block and moving averages), normalization to standard conditions, rule-based data validation, determination of working hours and availability, monitoring of exceedance limit value (ELV), offset values and adjustment of calibration function, uncertainty and validated average calculation, alarms and diagnostics.
There are many reports available to help you analyze your data. Data and event reporting, value classification and frequency distribution, audit trail, value replacement, parameter summary, and configuration reports are just a few examples among others. Reports can be exported to PDF, Excel and Word.
Database backup can be performed either on local or remote media. Tasks such as generating daily or weekly reports, printing, and backups can be scheduled to be performed automatically by the system.
User Interface
The LiMeDAS user interface can be customized by operators to suit their specific requirements. The application has a customizable dashboard that can host various widget windows such as data tables, trend charts and histograms, event status and calibration windows, process flowchart and others. Fonts, colors, layout, and data layout can be customized as needed.
A separate message window displays a list of recent alarms that can be acknowledged, with the ability to specify a cause, action, and comment. The Change Log window displays a record of all system changes, data backups, alarm acknowledgments, and custom operator log messages.
LiMeDAS has a powerful reporting engine. There are various reports available that can be added depending on the project and application. For example, reports such as average pollutant concentrations, availability, exceedances, alarms, events, calibration, configuration, and annual emission summary are available for environmental monitoring.
The user interface has multilingual support with the ability to switch between languages in real time.
